Ductless Mini-Splits are a great way to heat or cool a specific area of your home or office. A few pros are:

HOW DO THEY WORK?

Ductless Mini-Splits link individual room units to an outdoor compressor. The indoor unit contains evaporator coils cooled with refrigerant. Warm air from the room blows over and is absorbed by the coils, and from there the refrigerant transfers all the inside heat to the outdoor unit. 

Central indoor units are connected by long lengths of ductwork that transports warm and cool air back and forth, while a Ductless Mini-Split places small units directly in each room. This makes it a popular alternative to traditional units, especially if there is no option to add ductwork to your home. Installment is much less intrusive, it blends better aesthetically, are much quieter, and energy efficient (meaning you could qualify for a rebate if upgrading from an old system)!
